Bylaws

The ERNC bylaws are the governing rules of the ERNC. They were developed by the Formation Committee and have been revised several times over the years, to reflect changes in Eagle Rock and and in the work of the ERNC. All modifications to the bylaws are discussed and voted on in public by the ERNC, and must be approved by the City’s Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE), and sometimes by the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners (BONC), especially when a change in the board structure is involved: For example, when the ERNC went from a directly-elected President to one selected by the entire board, this required the approval of the BONC.
